Ancient Law Code Set features the Code of Hammurabi, Sumerian Law tablet, and Eshnunna Law Code. These are recreations. Hammurabi was king of Babylon from 1792 BC to 1750 BC. The Code of Hammurabi consists of 282 laws, with scaled punishments, adjusting "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" as graded depending on social status, of slave versus free, man or woman. The Sumerian Law Tablet dates from about 1860 BC and depicts one of the oldest documented laws in history. The laws are from the Laws of Lipit-Ishtar who was the fifth ruler of the 1st Dynasty of Isin (1934-1924 BC). The Eshnunna Law Code dates to about 2000 BC. This set is about $50 off the regular prices if you bought these separately.
