King Taita of Hamath Inscription is resin cast about 11 inches by 7.5 inches. Some scholars say that King Taita of Hamath is the Toi, King of Hamath mentioned in the Bible in II Samuel 8:9-10. He was contemporary with King David of Jerusalem. Toi sends his son Joram t o King David to salute and bless him. The Inscription is written in ancient Hieroglyphic Luwian. The inscription dates to about the 11 century BC.
