Egyptian Scarab Seal from Khirbet el-Maqatir Recreation. It is resin cast 3/4 of an inch long. It dates between 1550 to 1450 BC. Some scholars think Khirbet el-Maqatir is the Biblical Ai and shows that the city did exist at an early time, Late Bronze Age I.
