Enoch Tablet: The Seven Sages Recreation is a resin cast tablet about 2.5 long by 2.5 inches wide. Dates to about 650 BC. This tablet was found in the 1840's in Nineveh in Ashurbanipal's great library. The tablet is a Sumerian-Akkadian bilingual list of the seven great antediluvian Sages that was used as powerful spells. The text mentions Uta-Abzu a famed priest of ancient Eridu who "ascended to heaven." He was the seventh sage who is also called Adapa in Akkadian. In the Bible he is called Enoch. See Genesis 5:21-24.
