Manasseh's Tax Seal from Gibeon Recreation. This is resin cast about 1 inch. This is a recreation of the bulla that says, "Gibeon, belonging to the King." Scholars think this bulla was from Manasseh's tax to pay to the Assyrian King Esarhaddon, and then King Ashurbanipal. Each city would seal the tax to be given to Manasseh. This bulla is from Gibeon. At least 19 cities are identified in the paleo-Hebrew inscriptions on the fiscal tax bullae, representing nine of the 12 districts of Judah listed in Joshua 15:20–63. The left bulla is what was found, the right bulla is the complete reconstruction of the Gibeon bulla.
