Egyptian Cylinder Seal Replica. Resin cast replica with impression, about 1inch tall by 5/8 of inch wide. Seal is Early dynastic and pre-pyramid with Hieroglyphics. A very interesting and rare seal. Long before the ancient Egyptians started using scarabs and other shapes for seals they copied the cylinder seal invented by their Sumerian contemporaries.
