Crucifixion Graffiti Recreation (plaster cast). This graffiti was found outside the catacombs of Rome. It is the only known ancient drawing of the Crucifixion. It was found in the imperial palace on the Palatine with graffiti stating that the (supposed) Christian page, Alexamenos, is adoring his God. Note that there is a piece of wood for Jesus to stand on. The cross is like a capital T with a sign on top. Jesus is given a donkeys face in mockery of Christianity. About 10 3/4 by 7 1/4 inches.
