Hammurabi Recreation (resin cast, about 7 3/4 by 6 1/4 inches). Engraving that is found at top of the famous Code of Hammurabi. Hammurabi standing receives the royal insignia from the sun god Shamash. Hammurabi holds his hands over his mouth as a sign of prayer. Hammurabi was king of Babylon from 1792 BC to 1750 BC.
