Ugaritic Abecedary Recreation (resin cast about 4 inches by 1 inch) An abecedary is the alphabet written out in its usual sequence. The Ugaritic alphabet order is the same as the later Phoenician and Hebrew alphabets. This tablet dates to the 14th century BC and was found at Ras Shamra (Ugarit) in Syria. The original is in the Louvre in Paris.
