Atrahasis Tablet Recreation (resin cast about 7 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches wide) The cuneiform is not very clear. Atrahasis means exceedingly wise. He is the flood hero (Noah) of an 18th-century BCE Akkadian epic recorded in various versions on clay tablets. The Atra-Hasis tablets include both a creation story and a flood account, which is one of three surviving Babylonian deluge stories. The name "Atra-Hasis" also appears on one of the Sumerian king lists as king of Shuruppak in the times before a flood. The Epic of Atrahasis provides additional information on the flood and flood hero that is omitted in the Gilgamesh Epic and other versions of the Ancient Near East flood story.(Wikipedia)
