4QSam(a)17:4 Goliath Text Recreation. Recreation on real papyrus. It is about 1 5/8 inches long by 1 inch tall. It is a Dead Sea Scroll fragment with part of verses of I Samuel 17:3-5. In this fragment Goliath is said to be four cubits and a span tall which is 6 foot 9 inches tall with a cubit being about 18 inches.
